When importing references, the file type selected identifies each reference and its field data. By default, all available import filters appear in the options drop-down list when importing references. This list can be filtered by defining your Favorite Import Filters list.

Adding Import Filters to your Favorites

1. From the Import page, click the Customize this list link.
2. Select one or more import filters from the list of All Import Filters field on the left.
3. Click the Copy to Favorites button.

Removing Import Filters from your Favorites

1. From the Import page, click the Customize this list link.
2. Select one or more import filters from the list of Favorite Import Filters field on the right.
3. Click the Remove from Favorites button.

Tip

If your access associates you with more than one institution of a consortium, you can change your affiliation using the Member of field.
