Export Traveling Library

The Export Traveling Library command exports the references used in a document to your library in Unfiled. This is convenient when you wish to save, print or distribute a list of references used in an individual paper.

To export references:

  1. Open Microsoft® Word and the Word document containing the references you wish to export.
  2. Click the Export Traveling Library button in the EndNote Web toolbar. Or from the Tools menu, select EndNote Web then Export Traveling Library. Word 2007: On the EndNote tab, in the Tools group, select Export to EndNote and then Export Traveling Library.
  3. Click the OK button.

The references cited in that Word document are available in Unfiled.

Note: The reference data saved with each citation includes all fields except Notes and Abstract. Figures in documents formatted by EndNote are also excluded.

Note:

If you do not have a browser window open, a new browser window will open, and you will be prompted to log in to access your Endnote Web library.
